Description

The Minolta XM (or XK) is known as a professional system camera for its modularity. But this very strength brings risks: as soon as you remove the viewfinder to change it or store the camera, the fine focusing screen lies unprotected and open. Our focusing screen cover securely clicks into place instead of the viewfinder and protects the camera’s interior.

The viewfinder cover acts as a classic eyepiece cap. Especially during long exposures on a tripod, when you don’t have your eye at the viewfinder, stray light entering can disturb the sensitive exposure metering of the XM. This clip provides a remedy.
