Description

This rear cap was specially designed for the outer bayonet of rangefinder cameras from the Nikon S, Contax, and Kiev series. Unlike the standard 50mm lens, which uses the inner bayonet, wide-angle and telephoto focal lengths are often mounted on the outside. Since the rear lenses of these lenses protrude into the body to varying degrees depending on the design, we offer the cap in three different depths. Made from sturdy PLA+, it reliably protects your optics from dust and mechanical damage.

Compatibility & version selection

Please check how far the rear lens of your lens protrudes before choosing. Here is a guide:

• Shallow: For telephoto lenses with little protrusion (e.g. Jupiter-9 85mm, Jupiter-11 135mm, Zeiss Sonnar 85mm/135mm).
• Medium: For moderate wide-angle lenses (e.g. Orion-15 28mm).
• Deep: Especially for lenses with deeply protruding rear elements in Biogon design (e.g. Jupiter-12 35mm, Zeiss Biogon 35mm).
